Diabetic Supply

I have 26 and have type 1 diabetes. I am not a student, I'm not married, and I am a musician, so I do not have the advantage of a steady job. I have a health insurance in the states, but does not work in Europe. Due to German law reagarding work, I had to buy a European health insurance cheap insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions (also known as diabetes). I am currently school transport and supplies of insulin in the states and have it shipped here, but very expensive. Any suggestions and / or advice is welcome! Please help!
