I hear there are sites, but until now I can not find one. I am unemployed and have no health insurance and not using Medicaid. I have 56 years of age with type 2 diabetes. I have to test the blocks as well as insulin. HELP! Discount Medical Plan ideal for those who can not afford or qualify for traditional health insurance. Companies offer discounts to health services at low prices per month. Benefits include a range of discounts for doctors, hospitals, dental, vision, prescription, vitamins and other health services. I will not say I'm pretty sure it is really based on mind.thus answer.it staff would be preferable for you to try to find the best answer is www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.info yourself. Here a good reference source right. 1) If you have type 2 diabetes do not need insulin action or test. Have you been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes? In this case, the doctor who diagnosed the problem had said that once or twice a day pill is all you need is someone who is a doctor told you have type 2 diabetes and needs insulin, which is a charlatan. 2) If you need insulin for type 1 diabetes, visit the following website. You can apply for free and reduced costs accessories: http://www.americandiabetes.com/ 3) If you have type 1 diabetes probably was diagnosed as a kid. If he stopped taking insulin when they are unemployed, probably too ill to write what you have type 2 (diabetes). You do not need insulin for her. 4) If you do not know what kind of diabetes you have, go to a search engine, type "(name of your city / state), free clinics," and find a fence. Or go to the emergency room, because out of lack of insulin .

He has diabetes type 2 and 24. He just returned from Denison TX with her husband and two children, her husband has a job but can not get insurance through his work until he has been there for 3 months and still can not get insurance so.is "term or as a kind of things to help pay for your test strips, insulin and other things? Thanks guys and gals! husband COBRA is offered here as he left his previous job? Otherwise, you have to buy their own insurance for the next three months or pay out of pocket for supplies. You can call groping companies that produce inputs used to obtain a discount rate. You may have to sacrifice a little and buy the brands that are less expensive. For example, Wal -Mart is a meter called Reli-on and the tapes are very cheap. The counter of your car takes longer to give a reading of a number of fancier models more expensive, but it works anyway. If they are on insulin for a while, she was the company that makes insulin and have contacted their customer support program, she will be her insulin at a reduced price or free. In addition, a good source to their physician. Pharmaceutical companies stabbing lot of product for the physician precisely because of this. Where can I get cheap diabetic supplies?
I am a diabetic uninsured and asks me where I can get an inexpensive blood glucose meter test strips, lancets and. Preferably not on the Internet. Thanks for your physician. Mine gets a ton of yards from company representatives. They give them free. You can also private label (ie Walgreens) scores of meters and strips. They are usually pretty cheap. I have a free Bayer meter with test strips and lancets for online free advertising free, and I get a second from'm online. I am a diabetic type 1 be cheaper to get your diet should Walmart. There you have it for $ 10 a meter and a set of 50 test strips for only $ 20. Also provides long-acting insulin is around $ 24 a bottle, because its generic. The cheapest brand is diabetic Relion. All the supplies I bought will work just as well. The cheapest place is probably going to be on the Internet, especially if you want a known brand. There are several places that will not join with free meters, strips and lancets, but you will always have good brands Ebay and Amazon are both great places, especially bars alone. They are just extra strips nothing wrong with them, and often half the retail or even more. Here is an article on the test strips on eBay and buy safe methods available. It is a good article and convinced my sister on eBay to try and now get all their stripes! Good luck! http://diabeticdiscounters.com/About-the-Test-Strips-On-Ebay-Safe-Buying-Tips.

how can i get help with my diabetic supplies?
I live in a very tight budget of 180.00 per month and found my strips and needles too expensive to buy. So live without them in most cases. If you're in the U.S., call and ask 1-800-DIABETES. It must have some information or know where to direct it. Also I have problems, I take 16 pills a day and live on a tight budget and has no suction problems also tell us what you find that you can help many people. Thanks Talk to the county hospital. They have programs for people without insurance. has tried to get Medicaid. Or talked to a doctor who could certainly give you ideas on how to obtain supplies. Fortunately, we are on the Internet, and this is a great help in getting a fair price you can afford. I'm a few links where you can find complete information about the concerns of life without diabetes, and where to look to find them.

How do diabetics take their insulin and diabetic supplies on planes?
I think the insulin needles or similar throughout the equipment they need? How they managed to pass security without being elected and looked? Or do you keep a medical certificate. You must take insulin in a bag that maintains a cool temperature. These bags are widely available. You do not need a doctor's note, but it does not hurt to have one that says you have diabetes only uses an identification bracelet for diabetes is a good idea too. Airport security has no right to take drugs in a person, even if it means you have to "needle" on board an aircraft. The same goes for glucometers. That does not mean that the security people will not go with the bag to continue as almost certain to see through it. It just means that, after inspecting what board will not take insulin, needles, blood glucose meter, lancets, etc.You have an absolute right to take your care with you without limitation, if safety is to remove any of the above, it will be legally responsible if a diabetic problems on board the aircraft. If I can be of further assistance please let me know. I wish you and your family the best health and bless you in all things God. Here's everything you need to know: http://www.diabetes.org/assets/pdfs/know-your-rights/public-accommodations/fact-sheet-tsa.pdf good trip! Hello. :) I'm not you give me a diabetic, but my mom and I have to help her, all the 14 years of my life. If we go on vacation, she wears her insulin and needles in their hand luggage in a bag with protective gel pads on the outside, to cool them. You should always be some form of proof of why you are in possession of needles with a medical certificate or other official document. But she has never needed to show it because they never took the scanner fortunatelyThe small bottles of insulin that is in his suitcase held together with their blood glucose meters and other conifers. I hope I helped .

What is the smallest kit holder for diabetic supplies?
I have to take two types of insulin per day x 4, and must, of course, test kit, bear, two pens, needles and lancets, etc. Just wondering if there was nothing available so that everything is held together in sequence and is small. I can use a LifeScan Ultra machine easy. Should be available in the UK, and if you could tell me the price would be very grateful. Thanks. I'm getting tired of so many bits and pieces in a large bag - I have problems in the shoulder and back, and I'm small so a large bag looks and feels ridiculous. I will not take my blood glucose meter with me, if I. Why is it necessary to take two pencils? But I have to take pictures when I get out of me. I use a toothbrush holder to carry, I use in my bag, and I am very careful to ensure that syringes do not get too hot. I recommend a bag decoration projects. http://www.adorndesigns.com/products.php have big bags and small package sent around the world. His designs are well thought out. You should be able to find a design you like I'm on two types of insulin, with six images per day, and I know exactly what you mean. I would like to get his bag, because it would keep all my diabetic supplies and other items. You probably need a fair, which is smaller, but still has pockets and holders for all you need. Here is the link for the bag http://www.adorndesigns.com/handbag.php is a link to the case and the Messenger Bag, who is diabetic, and you can lose and takes him to a laundry room on're friends, so you do not always carry bag. There is room in your bag for your wallet, and a few other necessities. There is more space in your bag of course. I think the clutch bag that comes out is a great feature, and gives you what you need, and fits in your bag so all you need in one place. It is a great design. You can keep all the materials of everyday life in the clutch and then just fill out and put it in your bag and you're ready to go, saving time and money because everything works together. Good luck! PS. If you do not sack Parry, look at the peacock http://www.mydiabeticbag.com/ can see here what you need. www.frious.com.

Where can I collect used/wasted diabetic supplies?
My friend and I plan to do this work, non-profit for children with type I diabetes in developing countries. And before you actually start doing something, our main concern is that the media can pick up lost supplies for diabetes, such as insulin pumps, pens, blood glucose, insulin, or just date? Thanks for your help! I would be happy to give you an idea of cracking some.thats but difficult to create an international body of charity to the pumps in the less developed countries is probably not feasible. Insulin syringes are available without prescription in many states, as can be based insulins (regular, NPH). Free meters are available from the manufacturer, the test materials are the real thing, because they are expensive and are used with the unit for which they were conceived only. Sounds like a great idea, but a much more important than it seems to notice. Make a plan, and manufacturers and other organizations to raise funds and hope to find sponsors for supplies. Hold fundraisers It may take a while, but once you come, it will be off like wildfire if you do the basics first! Good Luck. There are several logistical issues three countries of the world, and deliver diabetes. Insulin pumps will be a clear no-no. First, batteries are not readily available in underdeveloped countries. Type 1 diabetics can not just go a few days without insulin until they can be 100-km distance to a store to buy batteries to get. The pump delivers the same with: snakes, put infusin, reservoirs, etc. If your life depended on it, but you can not wait for the delivery to get in a week or two in remote parts of the world. It takes a meter blood: batteries are hard to come by, especially for the meters unusual batteries. I have a study about 15 years ago for blood test strip that does not use batteries to test. They worked about 80% of the time, but the big deal was that they do not use batteries. Insulin must be refrigerated, and third world, many have no refrigeration and the temperature outside is very hot I'm all for helping people - not misunderstand me. But the logistics of managing type 1 is very difficult when the normal supply is not available .

What do I do about the diabetic supplies that we will need for a family member?
We have to bring snacks and supplies with us. How can we do if only allowed to return to many places we want to see? Use a large bag. I agree with the proposal of "Blah". A woman of great handbag should be fine. Will be inspected upon entry into most attractions and, sometimes, can be sent from X-ray scanner, but should meet your needs. I use a large fanny pack. Leave your hands free and can store enough snacks and an insulin pen, tape measure. If you are in Washington this summer, a purse can be used cold, as it can get very hot. And I usually can answer your spare cameras and brochures through the day. diabetic supplies are not very large. If your luggage, put over there and reserve two days to arrive. All family members need to keep in a handbag (syringes, insulin, meters, test strips, etc.).

Where can we get free diabetic supplies?
I am diabetic type 1. Fired Friday, uninsured, without salary, not unemployment.Where I can get help to cure diabetes? My wife and I have no children at home. We can obtain a health card in the state of Ohio. My wife is disabled, but not by the government. Received a disability allowance? Does anyone know where to go? Start calling the offices of state (see the blue pages of your telephone directory first) on how to apply for health coverage for the uninsured. Sorry, not much in the way of free stuff. You can visit the sites of the manufacturers of insulin as Lilly, and often have problems with a program, you can apply for low-cost or no insulin. If you are in a pump, go to www.ipump.com, which may have supplies for you. toughest.use meter bands and then have a generic store brand meters because their bands are the cheapest, maybe before that date have been installed by the State for medical purposes. Hey, you can get a http://wwwbestsaversclub.com/freemeter freestyle here and other information related to diabetes. Where in Ohio are you located? I live in Akron Ohio near Cleveland area /. You can go to the Municipal Labor and Family Services, and will help temporarily. Most municipalities have a job to help you find a job of some sort. Otherwise, contact the city or county health department. Some programs to help people with certain conditions, to a very low price. A few years ago my husband had high blood pressure, and for $ 5 per visit, he saw a doctor and sent home with medication. I think some places similar programs for diabetics. Ah, so I tell the health of the city or county, the county that I had lived in both, and operating independently. So if you find the county has two, and then call them. In addition, there are free clinics all over. You are not known because they do not advertise much, it is not easy to do in his budget. I know Cleveland has one. Here is their website: Their website is http://www.thefreeclinic.org/ talking about it helps diabetics. Also, try to call the 211th, if it helps the locations in your area who can help, you can find them. But remember that help is available, knowing that they have not. So if you call them discouraged at first. Sorry, I know many areas in Ohio are rural and have none of those options I mentioned. One last thing I can think of. Is it so send me your address and tell us what you need. My daughter is a type 1 diabetes and we have a few extra accessories. No extra insulin (sorry!) but maybe I can help you with other things. Good luck! -Edit-I do not know what I thought. Ding Ding is true that some places will give you medications for free when you register. But it takes a while. Diabetic supplies allowed on airplanes?
Okay, I'm diabetic, flying for my first time tomorrow and need some advice on how to pack my my syringes, short needles for insulin pens. I guess they would be allowed in checked bag, but I'm afraid to get my luggage is lost. How diabetics? You must be able to handle all your medications and related equipment to put in hand luggage. It is a good idea to take the medication in the original container with prescription labels to keep it only if there are any questions. You may have to bring needles on board is not scheduled. Check bag of syringes, so you have no problem. Enjoy your flight and a safe trip. Ignore Rube that can not be taken on board said needles. He is completely wrong! Diabetics (and everyone else, you need to self-inject) to their stocks to get on board in their hand luggage. You need a certificate from your doctor as proof of need and should have his or her full name, address and phone number, you should never place critical medical equipment in checked baggage. If your checked bags lost or delayed, can be a life-threatening situation. Ross is wrong. There is a limited supply. I do not think there is a limit to the amount of insulin, but if you go on a long vacation lasts a few days of needles on board and leave the rest checked baggage. I think the FAA or TSA areas that can provide information about this .

need to know about a doctor diabetic supply company.?
Signed with this company and now can not find the contact in the pharmacy and see if the pharmacist does not know anything about the company, but to contact their doctor about the same information. If you do not know anything about the company, please contact the Better Business Bureau and provide the information you have. This business can be fooled by those who are looking for health benefits at affordable prices. You can also try contacting your insurance company, but may also have some information about the company. GOOD LUCK! I do not know exactly what the company is looking for but this is what I use. http://www.diabeticexpress.com/default.aspx

How to get insurance for my diabetic supplies and doctor?
I am a type one diabetic and I have 17 years now, but when I turn 18 I'm moving on my own. At the moment my mother for Medicaid to pay for everything, but I do not know when I move. I asked my mother for help, but just opened a debate about me going to move. So can anyone help me with this. I have no idea of that. Depends largely on the state where you live and what are your plans after you leave. If you frequently work your employer offers health insurance. If you go to school so you should always be covered by Medicaid for her mother. If you are unemployed or not your company offers health insurance, you may qualify for Medicaid or health plan in New York is a problem of state-subsidized health insurance plan for people who do too much for Medicaid and can not get a your employer's plan. Drew is correct. Since you're in your mother's Medicaid, your medical needs are met. But if, as Drew's proposal that you do not qualify for assistance after relocation stuck, you can pay in cash suggests that you have brought the cost of your supply and the size of your doctor before emigration. With diabetes, it is not cheap, and you need a regular health care. Next time you ask him, if not for Medicaid, what it would cost to have me? The same applies to your doctor. You may find that even if you make enough for rent, food etc to pay, you will not be able to do that you take your diabetes. Fortunately now, you pay money for them if you have a job with health insurance through your employer. You can try the well-being of health insurance as Medicaid, but is not guaranteed, you will qualify .

I'm taking a trip to Vegas: Where can I buy Insuline and diabetic supplies?
I'm from Mexico. I'm on vacation with a diabetic patient. We seek all medical supplies for concern. However, I have curiosity about the need for a prescription in an emergency and have to buy anything while there. Thanks. Indeed, we have to follow a protocol for customs at the airport? Check with the airline since the protocol is. You do not know how foreigners Rx in the U.S., but check with Walgreens on this, we have the answer and Las Vegas is full of Walgreen. Bon voyage. Make all medical supplies with you. Do not put them in checked luggage in case of loss. If you have an emergency situation and need more insulin, go to the nearest hospital and ask for help. Happy holidays. my daughter had to go on a trip with drugs and called for the airlines. I do not think there is a problem with them. but I would like the paper to write a prescription if the medication or how to lose something. If you have an emergency, you can visit all the hospitals in Las Vegas and go to urgent care and they will help you to always take a prescription for insulin syringes and states differ in their requirements. Each pharmacy will have both. Although legally, a pharmacy, you can use insulin needles, but in practice is like pulling teeth. Many of you are no needles, if you have a recipe for it (like how you use insulin else?) Oh, darling, there are pharmacies on every corner of Las Vegas. I am a pharmacist and I work in Las Vegas. Finding a pharmacy is not a problem. If there is an emergency and she needs to see a doctor, there are tons of hospitals and clinics minute or quick care clinics (Note: Although you say "quick care" or "Minute Clinic" you still have to wait for hours if you're a walk-in). Check your telephone directory or on the Internet, if you find a place. All prescription medications require a prescription from a licensed physician wrote. If you have a recipe from Mexico, can not be completed in Las Vegas, not your doctor is licensed in the U.S. (the doctor an American DEA number) If you need insulin, you can buy without a prescription Humulin R, Humulin N and Humulin 70/30 can be bought without a prescription. You just go to the pharmacy and ask. But if they need another type of insulin, one recipe she has. If patients with diabetes are not on stable treatment, and you think there may be some problems, you may want to buy what the patient's health insurance during the entire trip. Health services are obscenely expensive and there is no break for tourists. If the duty is, call the airline and ask them for the most accurate recipe .

Can you get the Diabetic supplies from your doctor?
I know diabetes supplies can be quite expensive. Is however, your insurance may pay or have to go. Wal-Mart and Target, and get the equipment? If Medicaid or Medicare, you can get supplies at low cost or no. Your doctor can explain this. Here's a question I answered before where to find cheap m supplies.I diabetes "on a library computer, and therefore more difficult to access my original response bank.http: / / answers.yahoo.com / question / index; _ylt = At4RFEMNiyaTjJ0IKsjxtanty6IX four times a day 20070619202439AA4HWI1 = & show = 7 # profile-info-dFoZK3Egaa Your doctor may be able to provide some supplies, but not all. You can probably get a meter and perhaps some "test strips perhaps even some medications or insulin orally. Pharmaceutical representatives often leave samples of their products to doctors and doctors can give these patients to go as they wish. Ask your doctor. If you have insurance, if you go to the pharmacy, ensure that this information is also insurance to pay for testing supplies and so on, have your doctor write prescriptions for what you need. Without prescription, you pay full price. Yes, diabetes supplies are expensive. No doubt. Good luck. EMT Your insurance will pay for supplies. Are you newly diagnosed diabetes? Contact your insurance company. All pharmacies carry supplies. Doctors offices usually do not unless they do the tests. It is considered a conflict of interest for a doctor to sell prescription stuff. But make sure you have a recipe for something. If you drive through a prescription and the pharmacy will require from the insurer. My husband received a prescription for needles, testing, and even alcohol wipes! Talk to your doctor he should know what to do and be willing to help. Most insurance companies cover it when necessary by the doctor I buy lancets from e-bay paid me last week I paid $ 13.00 for 500 including shipping, buy my medicine from walmart, they have a $ 4.00 tracking program for the Most drugs, no insurance, cost me my mail-order test strips Thurs my health insurance $ 40.00 for a 3 months' supply, most have a deductible health insurance hello. I have a friend who pays for his medication, is a part of this fee is paid by his insurance. Here you can buy "Farmacia Paris", but I'm sure you've never heard of it. There is so much cheaper than Walmart .

If a male T1 impregnated a female T1, is there an increased chance of diabetic children?
None Heresay answer please. I would like to Biostatistics. Hvis chance is increased, Finn family diabetic supply chains? I guess if someone raises a child with diabetes, two diabetic parents be the best, it was done. If you and your partner have type 1 diabetes, the risk is 1 in 10 and one of four I found this information on genetics, the American Diabetes Association. Read the genetics section of its Web site http://www.diabetes.org/genetics.jsp answer is no. Since T1 is not hereditary, most authors regard it as autoimmune ie your body is your pancreas other theories suggest viral etiology. in T2 is a strong family history of causality. Jennifer T, thanks, I did not know it before:) Type 1 is genetic (someone said that it is not), but I'm with type 1 diabetes, and I took a class when I was younger. There is a 7% chance when two children with diabetes have in common is that the child is a diabetic himself. therefore, it is "confident" that their children will be diabetic, but will be in their genes, so that somewhere down the line that can be diagnosed, but a low percentage that the child is born with diabetes. good luck! I wondered why. I find it interesting that according to the relationship, a type of mothers with children under 25 years had a risk reduction increases when the risk of all. I like the idea of the supplies warehouse Sam's Club for diabetes. Maybe I could have insulin bottles as large as the large glass with mayonnaise. I tried to inquire about this as well and as far as I can tell there is a slightly increased risk to the general population, but type 2 is much more heritable. It is 15 times greater risk for a child of a type 1, type 1, though, so that if both parents do not know how it could increase the risk. While we're not sure exactly what triggers a species, there seems to be a genetic predisposition to develop it. Most type 1, so that the children had at least one child with type 1 diabetes, so I expect that to happen, but yes, this child will have a much easier time with their parents who do not have diabetes! There is no real answer to this. My father was a kind of type one, which my mother had five children and only two were diagnosed with a type. Recently, new research shows that diabetes is not hereditary, but a virus in your body can not fight the pancreas and stops. So chances are you might have a child with diabetes, I would say yes. But do not let that worry you too much, there are worse things out there. Diabetic supplies are expensive, so good insurance, I do not know of any supply chain that offers a lot of good things cheaper, besides those eligible for Medicaid, Medicare. Good luck .

Im looking for a diabetic supply company that needs new member to receive meters and supplies?
Currently looking for a new company to handle applications for Medicare and diabetic supplies to send. I only want $ 40.00 per approved and processed. I have a database of over 2000 new full leads. My old company was held not to pay me for my hard work, so I pretty much of my data. I have applications ready to be processed and waiting for customers meters and accessories. Does anyone know of a utility or a business in general in their search for new customers? Although I can not answer your question, I recommend you Google "diabetic supply respective contact on the list, although a proposal -. Burn copies of your data on DVD If something happens on your computer, you do not lose everything .I turn on a DVD and an external drive to my valuables. Congratulations to take the initiative. Not many people are willing to work hard to make a life for themselves. I assume you have checked the online "free diabetic supplies." If not, then do so, visit the American Diabetes Association. Then, "Assistance to medication" and "needymeds.com" I hope this helps.

Diabetic supply return policy?
I branch systems OneTouch UltraSmart blood glucose monitoring test strips and Walmart two weeks ago. Later, I discovered that my wife does not. (After the test oral glucose tolerance), I went to Walmart to return them and say they do not accept the return of diabetic supplies. These issues are closed and sealed with receipts. What do I get a refund? Sell them on eBay or donate them to charity. I want to donate the site meter ** Peachy **, no questions asked. You'll be glad you did. None. If Wal-Mart has a pharmacy trying to get refunds from the pharmacy not his usual counter. A pharmacist is more understanding and may return the money, especially if they are closed. I had a similar situation in which he had bought at a pharmacy and diabetic target return (closed) to the Pharmacy for a refund, no questions asked. If no walmart pharmacy department, then ask if a branch manager and tell him / her politely why you need a refund, I hope you get your refund. Good luck .

Is fat, bloated and blotchy Wilfred Brimley an appropriate spokesman for the diabetic supply community?
If it is not representative of a person with food choices that put you at risk for diabetes? A healthy person would better convey the image of a person who has a serious battle against diabetes? I do not think you can keep the insulin that is based on guilt. The real reason is lack of self control. They make an excellent point. You must do everything possible to see a person with their disease under control. I think his performance has more to do with passion by a person feel a thing when it is personally and take in the vicinity of the house with celebrities. Of course, Halle Berry be a better choice for the camera, but maybe it takes lousy care of their health or do not want this, the city has paved the way for W. Brimley. You make a good point in terms of appearance. I think it is wrong to think that because of his weight, he must have poor diabetes management, however. Maybe I did everything right and you can not lose weight do not know. Insulin is particularly difficult to lose weight. Him as spokesman, does not seem bad, but what really has helped his company, so do not think it's a bad thing to have as their spokesman. Perhaps people identify with him. It 's very difficult to lose weight when you are on insulin. Personally, I was a stone.just keep my blood sugar at a good level. I eat less than I was not diabetic. My skin has become even stained. It better be good to other people. This world is obsessed with the way we all expect. It's sad .s
